Long Time

Life has been busy - April just about killed me. Let's see...there was a girls' getaway weekend, a big project I've been working on for a friend's company; an art show that I had to make inventory for (which I sold none of); a 1st birthday party to plan for & have; Easter; business taxes to complete.....yeah, there was a lot of stuff. Oh and finishing up RILEY. Whew. I am glad it's May. Unfortunately, I just realized it was May & it's half over already. Ah well.

We did get a new camera with our tax refund. It's awesome. I can't wait to play with it some more...Maybe that'll spruce things up on this blog!

OH! And I forgot my Blogiversary! 7 years! Crazy.

Happy Anniversary, this June 12th will be my 7th wedding anniversary too. Great pictures, they are getting cuter by the day.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
