Just walked over and dropped Miss Dahlia off at daycare. *sigh* She wanted to play right away...I wanted to hang around and make sure she was "okay." I left. I felt a heavy sadness descend. I walked home while crying behind my big sunglasses.

It's sooooooooooo quiet here. Even the kitty is quiet.

I'm not sure I'll get a lot done this morning, even though I had big plans to.

Awww. Chin up. I predict that within 2 weeks it will be you who wants to go and play and she will be the one sniffing ;-)

Be kind to yourself. You were home with her for over a year and that's amazing! But you both need some space. She'll do fine and you'll adjust too. Don't rush yourself. Maybe try to do one thing today that will make you say, "I can't do THAT with Dahlia here!"

It is hard, but for us, daycare has been so great. She loves it, and we see her being challenged in ways we never would have thought to.

Hugs and hugs to you.

I sometimes think Claire should go just for the challenge Sarah speaks of in her post.

I am sending comforting hugs to you.
