Question for Mothers (or whomever wants to chime in...)

So, when you're feeding your daughter, or son, a bottle and she's clearly falling asleep because it's approaching naptime, and it then becomes apparent that she's got a stinky diaper but by the time she's done eating, she's snoring - do you just lay her down and wait til she wakes up (probably 1/2 hour or less) or do you risk waking her up and changing her immediately?

I have my answer, I'm curious to hear yours.

That happened to me once and I chose to let her sleep. She ended up with a bad diaper rash.

If it were me I would have left her. I would have rationalized that it's only a half hour. If it was an hour or more, then no. Especially if she didnt nap alot like my 2nd baby.

For me, I had to change her because she'd invariably wake up uncomfortable before too long. So I'd change her and put her back down as fast as I could to ensure a longer nap.

Let sleeping babies lie. (unless there is a rash involved)

I would stop feeding/nursing, change and then start over again getting said baby down to sleep.

With my kids, there chance of a good long nap was much better fi they had a clean diaper.
