Packing...

So my latest dilemma. Packing for the 250 mile road-weekend trip to Grandma & Grandpa's house. Ay yi yi...how many outfits? Hats? Onesies? Diapers? Remember the formula, the zantac, the Mylicon drops; Toys? Pacifiers? Bottles....

And Steve & I have a hell of a time just getting out the door the TWO of us...this could be very interesting....

I couldn't help but chuckle! Just last summer I was remarking after packing the blazer for a camping trip - that I don't have ROOM for kids, and that if I ever had any, I'd have to have a trailer... I seriously don't know how my mom and dad managed to go camping with the three of us in a family sized car!

Drive safe and I hope you have a fantastic time!

I would pack 2 or 3 extra outfits just incase she poops or pukes on them. When my babies are that young, I always overpack, but its better to be safe than sorry! I would just bring one or two toys, nothing big cause she'll probably be held by the family the whole weekend, and might not have any interest. Bring an extra shirt for you too, just in case she spits up on you too. Have a great time! And remember to let the family take care of the baby, so you can get some socializing and time away from mommy duty. :)

Not sure if you would want to bring some nursery water with too? When I go to my parents I bring it as I don't trust or like the taste of the water up there. Super old pipes, etc. And since my baby spits up ALL the time, anything to avoid more of an unsettled tummy.

Just a thought.

Ah yes! Water...I hate their water-softened water so I will bring along a jug...good thinking. :)
