Wardrobe

Pretty much I wear the same thing every day these days...almost. I have TONS of maternity clothes, thanks to some very generous friends, but the shirts (some at least) have stopped covering the belly so I continue to resort to my favorite pair of (maternity) jeans, long sleeved shirt & cardigan.

I'm okay with this. Hopefully no one else has noticed....yet.

I pretty much wear the same five outfits to work every week. No one has said anything, so I think we're both good.

It's so annoying to be pregnant when the clothes stop fitting at 8 months. You don't want to go buy more maternity clothes, but you want that belly covered!

I'm sure no one has noticed. They just see how cute you are.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
