Teeny Tiny Boots

So, Dahlia has tiny feet, like her mother. I am having a HECK of a time finding boots for her. Most 'toddler' boots (which would be suitable for things she wants to do, ie: run around outside, start at size 5. She DESPERATELY needs boots as they go outside every day at daycare (which she LOVES) and her little tootsies are very cold in these December temps! It'll only get worse! She wears a 3...maybe a 4 (with big socks). Any suggestions on where to find small boots? I've hit just a few places so far (specifically) and everywhere else I've been (in passing)...I've tried Target, Kohl's and Savers (just in case!) for just a few. Any other ideas?

Try Stride Rite. They may cost a lot but they might have them in her size.

Oh Dahlia! Petite and beautiful like her momma! I wouldn't say that you should resort to bread bags just yet, but I have no idea.

bring her to get sized like at Little Feet and then go on ebay or craigslist.

Also, apparently boots should be a size or two up. Mine measures at 7 1/2 and for shoes they said go 8 and boots go 9. WOW...now that sounds like a GIANT!

Yes! boots should be a little bigger. I don't know how you feel about second hand, but it seems like I saw a pair at a thrift store a couple of days ago. I was amazed that they made boots so small. (now I know why I was so amazed) I'll see if I can find them when we go back.

Might be worth looking around on the site a bit. I saw some Kamiks in a size 5, but that is as small as those get, I think.

One more like the first pair, but a "toddler" size...

I found some size 5's at Target today - so I thought I'd give those a try. Thanks for all the suggestions - hopefully these will work out (at least for now!)
