Feels Like Fall

Ugh - rainy, drizzly, cloudy, cold. It feels more like fall than spring. I'm trying to get motivated to get things picked up and DONE around here, but it's very difficult in the doom & gloom. Blech. I hate it when things get to the "overwhelming point."

I don't know what my problem is but I can't seem to get anything ACCOMPLISHED. I think about how great it would be to do this, make that, read this, watch that, exercise, create, etc and instead I don't even know WHAT I do. It gets depressing.

The other depressing thing? Why is it that I don't feel like I fit in ANYWHERE. What is up with that? Everywhere I go I feel out of place. WTF? Where did this lack of confidence come from? It's annoying but I am somehow a slave to it.

See, blechy weather, blechy attitude. At least I have this week's meal plan done. Something accomplished I guess.

Hey lady - what did you just do this weekend? A movie premier in Minneapolis? An after party? Gee, that was nothing...

You are entitled to about a month of non-motivation, in my book!

I am so sorry I missed the premier, but I know it had to have been a hit! Congrats!

I was in the same boat today - got nothing done, then had an orchestra concert this afternoon. The house is rather messy.

And I also feel like I don't fit in anywhere. Whenever I start thinking maybe I do, something happens to make me feel like a total dorky outsider.

I bet more people feel like this than we think.

We just got spoiled in high school where we all found such a great place to fit.

Hey! I felt almost the exact same way yesterday! It must have been in the air in Duluth. The sun will burn it away like fog soon enough...

I'm assuming that you've somewhat recovered from your funk, but the not fitting in? Kind of the number one reason I became an alcoholic.

So, don't drink too much or I'll come up and beat some sense into ya.
