need to come up with some ways to increase (uh, have...) revenue.

need to sell a film.

need to get buyers excited.

need to learn how to think outside the box.

Woohoo! Congrats!

I'm finding that a lot of ways to make money are actually inside the box these days. Do you still do weddings? Anniversary parties? Bar mitzvahs?

How about a kids film? I can't get over how much Dan Zane charges per person for his shows... Just don't let Jason get neked in front of the wee ones.

Is it worth it to hunt for a producer's rep or whatever they call it? Or do they basically do what you could on your own? Hmm... the walls of my box are pretty high so let me think on this to see what I might come up with.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
