Gratitude Today

Since I forgot my gratitude journal at home I will record them here this week...

I am grateful for....

-making a safe journey to Fargo. Good weather, no car problems, yay!

-being appreciated for what we do.

-the cutest baby in the world who slept all night for Daddy last night.

-my family being understanding and helping out when I'm away.

-the opportunity to have some 'me' time this week.

I think you getting away is awesome. It always seems to refresh you. And yes, family that understands is priceless.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change. I'm kind of sad because I've met some cool people - randomly - by having this blog....but the phase of putting all my stuff out there for everyone to read is over. Thanks!
