SOLD!



It's official. We now only own one home. WHEW! Economic crisis and all. I'm so glad everything worked out okay. We met the new owner at the closing today and she seems cool. I think she really REALLY loves the house which makes us happy. It'll be interesting to see what changes she makes to the yard - and maybe even to the house. I mentioned that I visit Dustin & Anna (hi Anna!) quite frequently for Stitch & Bitch - she said - 'come on over!' Not that I will, but one day my curiosity may get the best of me.




It feels like a big weight has been lifted. Sure we have oodles upon oodles of boxes & crap piles to go through here, but at least we can now focus on HERE instead of worrying about THERE and HERE.



Dahlia was a peach at closing - charming everyone, as usual. That girl knows when to turn it on. She'll either be a celebrity or a politician. Ay yi yi!

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
