big decisions...

since Dahlia's head is *normal* (as normal as it will be with two parents like hers!) we've decided to move on to the next BIG decision.......and we'll be waiting for a while on this, and stressed, and it has to do with a domicile or two and ay yi yi just like there's never a good time to have a baby, there's never a good time to move, right?

But we're not there yet...just thinking....

*sigh*

When Ms. D wins the nobel prize for her work in physics or something we will all reflect on this little episode and laugh about how it should have been the lightbulb that she was going to do big things.

Good luck on the house hunting. I'm dreading the thought as this is the longest I have ever been in one building since I was 12. Yikes.

I am happy to hear that Dahlia is fine. By the way there are still a couple of houses up by where I live. Just think if you move up here you wouldn't have to wonder where that woodtick came from. hahahaha

I've always had to move out of necessity. I think it would be fun to move out of choice. Have fun looking!

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
