Who Is....




I may be a HUGE nerd, but damn I love this show. LOVE IT. It is the only show I actually submitted a tape to (to be a contestant) when it was originally on back in the early '00s. I was so excited to hear that it was going to start again. And yes, I watched it. And it was good.

We started to watch it way back when and then for some reason stopped. But I did set the ole DVR to record it this season. I was pleasantly surprised last night. But then again, reality TV is one of my favorite things about summer.

See??!!! We're TOTAL soul mates. I am OBSESSED with The Mole. you probably heard my shriek of delight when I saw the first teaser commercial a couple of months ago. LOVE IT. I have a hypothosis but I can't reveal it in case YOU'RE the mole.

I love the Mole, too! I wrote a post about it when I first heard it was coming back. Good stuff. BTW, after week 1, I think the mole is Victoria. Of course, I reserve the right to change my mind.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list.
