Guess What I'm Going to See Tonight?!?!



I'm so excited!!! My friend Sarah is on her way to Duluth from Minneapolis so we can check it out together. We've been planning this for months! I see a martini in my future. Whohoo!

Sadly, I think I'm going to wait for it to come out on DVD. What?! You say? Well, I've enjoyed Sex and the City on my couch for many a year. It just doesn't seem right to see it in the theater. I don't know what it is, but I just can't do it! Don't spoil it for me now!

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
