Frazzled

Day two of Dahlia screaming inconsolably. Super demanding. Never happy. *sigh* I am exhausted and running out of ideas. Plus getting no work done at work or at home. My back is killing me and I'm just feeling - pffffffffffffffft. Did I mention it SNOWED yesterday & this morning. Yuck.

Hang in there! You missed the poppet, you know! So sleepless nights might make up for it. Either that or she's punishing you. OR, your parents spoiled her rotten and it's THEIR fault!

Thinking of you and really enjoying seeing the trailer for God Rocks.

yeah - usually she's a peach so this has been weird!

Last night she slept like a dream (once we finally got her settled down) and things have been going much better today. Thank GOD.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
