No Opener

I lost my garage door opener last week. It sucks. I know, I know. Big deal I have to get out of the car and key in the code to open the door. I am glad I even HAVE a garage. It just is a pain. Luckily the weather hasn't been ass cold lately or it would REALLY suck. I suppose I have to get off my lazy butt and get a new opener. Hmph.

if you are near lakeside, try marshall hardware. they were helpful when i thought my opener was broken...turned out i needed a new battery, and a new way to "hit" the button, and i was set.

My opener (remote) is GONE! Doh..I will have to get a new one. Boo hoo. Unless I can steal Steves! ha!

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
