ONE MONTH!


Time flies, eh? (well, somedays....)

The little Miss is one-month today. She wasn't really in the mood for a photo shoot but I got a couple shots off before the screaming commenced.



Tomorrow we have appointments! I have my 4-week postpartum appointment + 2 hour glucose tolerance test and Dahlia is going in to get weighed and to be checked out for reflux. I have a feeling there's a reason why we have a mostly agitated baby these days.

Awww.... she's so cute! I can't believe it's been a month already.

Hey, did you get a UPS package from me? I lost the tracking number receipt so I can't confirm. If you didn't get anything please let me know so I can crack some skulls.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list.
