Gymnastics

Well, the Chick Pea has taken up gymnastics, it seems. There was a lot of crazy activity this weekend. I could even feel certain leaps and tumbles on the outside. Steve was able to feel a couple too although he is skeptical that that is what he felt! ha. Nope, that's it honey!! I think it just makes it more and more real and scary to him. Yeah, tell me about it!

Chick Pea is very fond of mint chocolate chip ice cream....or at least that makes him/her do absolute summersaults within!

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
