Baby Booties

See? I told you that wee folks are on my brain....

Anyone know of a good pattern or two (or three, really...?) for baby booties? I'm sort of a square or rectangular knitter right now but would like to move into other shapes like....socks, sweaters, bags and BOOTIES! So I just thought I'd ask.

My knitting group starts this month - yay! :)

Carrie - I have a million and one patterns for everything - booties, hats, sweaters, afghans etc. Just tell me what you're looking for and I can copy and mail you a bunch! I had that baby explosion last year! :)

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
