Darn it! When you vote in early voting, they never give you a sticker. I'd have saved mine to wear today, but I voted a couple weeks ago.

This was the first time ever my polling place actually HAD stickers. I was very happy.

Wow, that picture is NOT good. I'm in sort of a mellow-sad-my-husband-got-mugged-last-night-mode me thinks...

I did--first time they used the machines versus the punch cards. I miss the garage I used to go to and was in and out. Now it's in a church foyer and there were people everywhere. I think I'll do it absentee from now on.

I don't have your email address and I don't see it on your page. I don't like leaving comments on my posts--I prefer to send an email, but I don't have that option with you. I just want to thank you for your continual support and kind words. I really appreciate it.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list. Like I said - it won't happen for another couple weeks, but there ya go. Time to make a change.
