Before and After

So I did what I think many brides do relatively soon after their big day....I changed my hair!

For so long I was growing it out so I would have options on my wedding day...and then it just got to the scragglemuffin stage and I couldn't take it any more.
The jury's still out on the new 'do. Steve likes it (that's helps) and I'm sure I'll have trouble doing anything with it (not good) but ah well...sometimes a change can do you good.

It's very cute! The best wedding haircuts, I think are the ones you can only do one thing with. There will be so many plates a-twirling that day, it's nice to have some solid decisions under your belt. Best wishes for your big day!

ProudMary- thanks for stopping by! My wedding is in the past...*sigh* which is why I thought a change would be good. My long limp locks needed to be revived in time for the honeymoon!

Peder - thanks - you and half a million other guys. ;) sometimes though when you have fine & thin hair like me the long look just doesn't cut it.

and IT'S A GIRL!! I'll do a proper introduction later and the whole story and everything but in the meantime, we had a baby girl. 2:15pm on Friday afternoon (I posted at, what? 10;30am? You do the math!!). Her name is Dahlia Marie and she weighed in at a whopping 6lbs even. 19 1/4" long and so incredibly gorgeous (although, I might be a wee bit biased). The birth was the most amazing experience I've ever been through and my mind is still, well, blown, quite frankly. I am so tired though...time for a quick nap before we try to feed again.

Privacy, please!

Well, the time has come. After 6 1/2 years (!?) Naturally Optimistic will be going private at the start of the new year. If you are interested in still reading my INCREDIBLY exciting posts & commenting on my cute children, email me & I will put you on the invite list.
